This was a project for Merton Council, the project was a full strip out and refurbishment at a purpose built day centre for adults with learning disabilities. Nothing original in the building was kept and some areas we're extended by the building contractor. 

 

Fixatex had a full Electrical, Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control and Disabled Alarm package. Lighting was a Thorlux Design which included Emergency Lighting to internal and external areas. The majority of the internal lighting was installed on chains from high ceilings. A 3 Phase Hager 36 Way Distribution Board was installed to service the building. Small power was run throughout using a variety of methods from clipped direct, to buried in walls, to surface metal and plastic conduit. MK wiring accessories used throughout. In most areas installation was flush, other areas such as offices, compartment trunking was installed where we installed DATA Cabling. Supplies we're run for other mechanical contractors such as Air Conditioning and boiler wiring in the plant room.

 

A Hybrid Fire Alarm system was installed throughout the building, Designed, Installed, & Commissioned by Fixatex. A full security and Access Control system was also installed including emergency door closer's on disabled toilet doors. Everything was Tested & Commissioned on completion and handed over in an O&M Manual format.
